One other great part of Bongo is that the whole team really contributed. Jack and I co-designed with Seth. Jack generated amazing puzzles. Saman and Jason designed and built the beautiful presentation. Andrew worked out the contest. Brooke sorted out puzzle submissions. Gary and Orta built the backend. And even our newest hire Lilith stepped up with incredible share images.
And everyone, regardless of their main work, contributed a bunch of small and critical design ideas.

Working on a Bongo feels very familiar, even though I can't think of many games that work like it. Eventually we realized it's familiar because it's what the creative process feels like. Throwing ideas at the wall, iterating on some, backing out, and then going back.

After using non-adobe alternatives for almost a year I had to use Adobe for a moment for a specific project and..... wow omg it is just shocking how awful it is. it feels like using an application coded in java running in an emulated environment.

Recently I have been thinking a lot about email, messaging, and the telephone, and the tinkering with building the tools I wish I had to solve the problems I encounter every day with spam, busywork, and general intrusion into my life.
If you use apple mail, here's a single (half-functional) rule that will make your inbox so much nicer.
The idea here isn't to delete un-asked-for emails, just to put them in a place that is decidedly different than my inbox.
