First time posting. Photography is my top hobby and the wildlife that graces our farm is my preferred subject. To christen the new blog heres a pair of photos of White-tailed deer napping in the pecan grove. These photos taken with a tripod mounted Canon RF200-800 and Canon R5 Mark II.

@grounded.photos I was out mowing and I saw something unusual at the pond. I went back to the barn to grab my camera from the car, and then I snuck down the back path to the pond. That’s when I found out it was a young bald eagle.

@grounded.photos Absolutely, I love these bears! A local TV station in Salisbury, which also has a zoo, did a terrific story about Pinocchio. He lived there for a while before moving to the Nashville Zoo. The story covers his background and his role in the future of his species.
