@nina_kali_nina Honestly, I'm not opposed to using AI in FOSS in genral. Just to the bad use of it, or the use of bad AI. Nobody is out there making a big stink about SAST tooling. We know their uses and limitations and use them accordingly. In my eyes the problem is rather that there a) aren't really any genuinely good and reliable AI tools (yet) b) A fool with a tool is still a fool. And there are a whole lot of them running around thinking they are code magicians all of a sudden. Also alot of FOMO induced panic. At some point everybody is going to calm down and realize that these things are tools like any other. Until then, it's probably better to stay well away from the slop fountains.
