The year before me all graduates got Chem Eng jobs. My year - about 25% did. I worked in a bar for 18 months before changing career into IT where I worked until I retired. Most of the network was new (Ethernet replacing thick wire DecNet). We installed 5 Netware 3.1 servers to provide 15GB of storage shared by 1500 users. I’m pretty sure that on all of the early CP/M machines I used you had to boot into CP/M to be able to save to disk.
