@daringfireball I went from seeing probably no folding phones last year to a noticeable amount this year in the UK. Not a lot but you can see one a week maybe, certainly one a month. I know 3 people personally with them.
The people I know are in their 40s / 50s and it feels like most strangers are older too. Might be because of the cost but people have told me they like them for aging-related issues.

And if if the company has the idea that any commits to main need to be a release, well then you release it. I assume that happens with iOS apps.

A lot of my co-workers have what I consider selfish ideas.
As far as I know they're just ideas. If they, as an example, said their trans kid was dead to them, I'd cut them off let alone what I would think if they had, as an example, ran Doge or even thought it was perfectly acceptable to pay money to someone who did that.

Yes, a lot of people will knock out thousands of lines of code with AI and it is clear what they have done.
Someone who makes one-liner changes here and there will go unnoticed. So, saying you can't use AI at all just won't work. Then arguments over who and who is not using it will arise. I can see why it has to be worded that way.

I loved it but I will always remember I lost my Star Wars Emperor because our roads (we had no sidewalks) were not the smoothest and I put him in the back box which he had to have bounced out.
It was limited edition and you only got him from, presumably buying enough other figures. I think I only had him about a week so that sucked quite a bit to be honest.
It's not like I went miles on the thing I never found him on the edge of roads.

LLMs certainly have a value.I'm pretty sure the only sane forward to accept they're not the be all and end all of AI and they can provide certain specific needs. It won't be worth a trillion but we could have tools for certain roles.
Devs will be negatively affected but tbh, that's our own fault for thinking giving away so much code for free to businesses wouldn't have blow back.

The average amount of time the user's have kept / used the app would be better than anything else.
My apps, I think are rated well certainly for their niche / the amount I promote them (i.e. not really) but I'd even be happy to lose the stars and reviews.
Like comments on news articles, I'm finding user reviews when I'm the consumer to be nearly useless.

The only thing you could say is perhaps he should specific LLMs which are being sold as *the* AI and are perhaps the worse example of it. At least for what it's being sold as.

The old Vision Pro plays video and does Mac virtual display just fine and to be honest is there anything else that is required?

The primary reason for a full macOS app is MenuBarExtra which is only available on a full mac app.
I think I'm going to have to make a new target and likely shift more things into my shared group.
I kind of expected it to take effort but not as much as it might take.

They're dreadful. I know how to make them go away but admittedly I'm quite lazy. I'd prefer to do it in the podcasts app even if it ended up more expensive. I get why @jsnell & others won't use it. I guess what I wish would happen is that Apple realizes how garbage their subscription offerings are for podcasts. It should be at least a easy add-on to pick-up people who don't care about bootlegs, etc.

The Apple store listing in the back was nice. It did feel a bit weird the Cambridge UK one was listed as Grand Arcade. That is the correct shopping centre location and how Apple mostly refers to it. Obviously that's not an issue it just makes scanning the list for it slightly more tricky. 😅
