The first part of this run was move of an information gathering sessions to see if I could uncover things from the past. Overall it was a success even though I slipped and slid around some steep grades looking for what I hoped to find.

Not sure if it was the weekend / last week catching up to me or what but this felt like work and it might have been humid out as I was dying. However, was glad to get a run in to start the Monday. This morning lifting program that my youngest does is helping me be consistent for sure.

Decided to get up a little earlier today and put in a long run around Back Cove. I feel like every time I come out to Portland, ME I always have to make one run around it.

I was glad that the youngest wanted to go to lifting today as that helped force me to get a run in early before the start of a busy day. It was a nice cool day out with the sun shining, honestly perfect weather to run and mostly had the rail trail to myself.

\nFavorite trail of mine near our house
Decided to take a different route for todays run as I wanted to see how the trails looked north of me as well as just meander around for a while. Knowing I had a longer day ahead of me with a late International call and needing to get other things done it was a good break in the day.

I feel like my wife and I have tried this but fail A LOT! However, I give her the most credit as the master scheduler in our household. However, maybe this might help as it seems now we just add things as we go as it isn’t as big of a rush right away but something else comes up and then it is searching calendars.
