Convention on queer Mastodon is to cw (similar to LJ's cut-tag) posts on triggery topics like politics, mental health, food, or coronavirus.

\n\n

It looks like one could use IFTT to inject a cw, but then photos wouldn't come through.

\n\n

Would it be possible to add an option to designate some tags as cw for the sake of cross-posting to Mastodon?

@MitchWagner and communicating to SL from your phone meant you had to build or buy your own way to do it. And you couldn't do the most obvious things from web or phone such as messaging and announcements. (You could get emails, but that had to start from within the client.)

@MitchWagner I would say that twitter is less hostile to the Open Web than Facebook (which is toxic, awful, and has become indispensible to many.) There's many things Twitter could do to be better, besides banning the nazis and terfs.
