As they’re powered by RSS feeds they could almost be created automatically if any account with a dot in the username were considered a domain name account. MB could scrape for an RSS feed. If it finds one then the account would be created. The bio would be the feed description. The avatar is lightly more tricky but you could check for one of the larger user defined icons such as apple-touch-icon and use that. The remaining issue is how do you handle sites with multiple feeds? MB obviously wouldn't create an account for a site until someone tried searching for it / following it.
@tibz Safari hasn't been my default browser in years. I'm an Instapaper user myself so don't get any benefit from the integration. I'd use Pocket as I trust Mozilla a whole lot more than Pinterest but Pocket still doesn't support highlights…

I find that the one's I'm left with (probably about 5) are the one's that serve a clear purpose, provide clear value, and that I can be in-and-out of very quickly.
\n\nFor what it's worth, I don't think the inbox is where interesting and thoughtful content belongs. That sort of writing belongs on the open web, where it can be indexed and enjoyed by anyone who stumbles upon it at any time, not just those who were in the right place at the right time.
\n\nI'll now contradict myself to some extent by saying that I've developed a similar unscratched itch try podcasting over recent years.

@cm Legends of Ahn, book 3 of the King's Dark Tidings series. I found the whole series to be ridiculously engrossing, the perfect accompaniment to a rainy afternoon and a cup of whatever you fancy. If you read The Name of the Wind and didn't like the \"the hero can do no wrong\"-iness of it, this may not be for you. I'd still suggest giving it a shot if your looking for something entertaining and easy going though.

Knackered my foot at practice on Friday so I’ve spent the weekend tinkering with various projects including a potential update for my site. Nowhere near done but I’m pleased with how the header came out.

My imagination or do blogrolls seem to be slowly creeping their way back onto people’s sites? I’ve seen quite a few recently, but that may just be down to the fact that I’ve been visiting more blogs written by IndieWeb folk.
