Since we’ve all agreed that developers document everything in Markdown (I don’t remember a vote), why is there nothing built-in on MacOS that can preview Markdown well? TextMate, BBEdit, and every IDE can edit them, but previewing is completely pants.
I dunno what it is but every so often Karabiner just breaks on me, and the only way to get it working again is a complete uninstall and a reinstall. I dunno what’s the problem but I swear it just has to be MacOS’s brokenassed tccd system.

Sometimes I feel like there’s no magic in the world. But, then I think … but magnets.
Also like Dragon Dictate, it’s hard to judge the boundary between wow this is really saving me a lot of time vs. I should just type something because it’s faster than fixing the text afterwards.
Where it’s completely pants is asking for facts, design advice, etc. At best it’s just mirroring back to me things I already know, and at worst, it’s giving bad or incorrect advice.
I’ve been messing around with Claude Code and I think it’s a lot like what using Dragon Dictate was back in the day – an assistive technology. It excels when I need to type a lot of code. And like Dragon Dictate, sometimes it gets my meaning wrong.

I’m not sure if it’s the best way to go for that sort of work. A silicon mat might be better.

They sound amazing and are incredibly comfortable to wear for long stretches. When I want something wireless or noise cancelling I use Sennheiser MOMENTUM True Wireless.
