Went to see The Super Mario Galaxy Movie with my nephew today. So much fan service for the older viewers - R.O.B., Fox and Bowser OS made me laugh out loud and feel nostalgic! 🎨🎮🍿

Day 30. The human hand. This was so much easier than expected…not perfect but I’m honestly impressed about how “easy” drawing hands can be.

🎨 Been fascinated with Jeremiah Goodman’s gorgeous paintings, especially the “garden in hell\"— which was the living room of former Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Diana Vreeland. Her eclectic home has inspired an abundance of beautiful derivative works. See attached photos for examples.

Step into a circular room at the SF Marine Museum and look up.

Hiler's Prismatarium fills the ceiling with a 30-color wheel from his self-developed chart, each color representing a different emotion or mood.

Hiler's Prismatarium fills the ceiling with a 30-color wheel from his self-developed chart, each color representing a different emotion or mood.

Visited Pena Palace yesterday where I found this intricate stained glass window in a chapel. If you look over the king’s shoulder you’ll see the palace itself in the distance. If you squint, you can see an arched window. That’s this window! The art contains a depiction of itself, ad infinitum.

Visited Pena Palace yesterday, walking up through the town of Sintra and then through the wooded palace park to get there. The view from the top was amazing, but I was even more transfixed by this stained glass window. Hard to show the level of detail in a photo, but it was pretty bonkers.
