\nI have a Twitter account which is useful for keeping track of the WordPress community – it seems they use everything other than WordPress to share info. I’m trying to encourage them to use RSS by starting wp.feedland.org/. There is some hope.
\nEach resignation has a cost, and it’s really hard to see any return for making the investment. In the case of GitHub I can’t imagine whata would be better. Yes I know it’s owned by Microsoft, but if you all switch to something else, how long before that is owned by Oracle or Salesforce, or something Elon Musk owns. It’s very hard for the startup people to resist the offer when it comes.
\nImnsho – it would be better if people could working together on building interop on the web, so peopld could build nice useful systems that are more powerful than anything the BigCentralizedCos could make on their own. That’s how we really win, not with symbolic moves, but by doing things that really matter.
