Panic Measures in Education! Saw this 1948 magazine at a flea market today. It describe problems in teaching from the perspective of women who formed the majority of teachers but who faced discrimination. I know lots has changed but would be interested to hear views from current female teachers?

Ran a workshop today for secondary school physics teachers on using research to improve learning. As we went through how to find relevant literature and critically evaluate was again struck by how difficult it is to actually investigate classroom practice.
