@soviut I wrote an article after speaking with several pirates from the 80s and 90s, indeed the competition was about who could crack a game the fastest, but it wasn't about \"profiting\" really.
It was about being the best at what you do, and sometimes it was a matter of hours.
@MichaelKlamerus the ending is lil' bit abrupt, but everything else is simply perfect, especially the (real) language chaos is something that you just don't see in movies anymore.

I can respect Book of Hours in how it dumps you into the game with NO explanations whatsoever. Figure it out or die (well, not literally but more or less).

My favorite demo so far on Steam Next Fast is Shadows of Doubt. A procedurally generated open world detective simulation which feels like a game I dreamed about decades ago. A few control issues, but well, this is an instant wishlist.

Blade Warrior from 1991, on Amiga and Dos, still looks quite intriguing all these years later. Imagesoft managed to also develop combat system and mechanics much more in-depth than other action adventures of the time.

I love the idea and sheer insanity behind Pizza Tower, but can't help but feel that I would have liked it way more with some tighter controls and less emphasis on score attack/running around at high speed.
But that OST is sweeeeeeet.
