One of the most surprising (to me) findings is the number of people who don’t feel safe online <a href=\"https://connecthumanity.fund/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Connect-Humanity-Digital-Equity-01-24-23-FINAL2.pdf\">page 39</a>. This is playing out in news stories like this one, <a href=\"https://www.thepinknews.com/2023/05/28/lgbt-youth-scotland-twitter-hate-speech-elon-musk/\">LGBTQ+ youth charity quits Twitter over ‘increase in extreme views’ after Musk takeover</a>.</p>\n<p>To me one of the biggest wins of ActivityPub is the ability to create a linked network of safe spaces. One of my biggest worries is they become isolated.
