It should at least list a bunch of apps, showing the battery percentage they use, their time on screen, and any background usage time. I’d suspect in the case of a fresh install that there’d be a lot of drain early on while photos and apps are re-downloaded and synced. Spotlight/mail/Siri indexing can take a lot of energy with a fresh install too. Oh, and for what it’s worth, there’s not problem with leaving the ipad plugged in overnight. I’ve done that for years.
