FWIW I tried using compatible inks on a cheap Canon, colour looked fine, B&W was... green!)

I now use SimpleMind Pro, but it's poor compared to the licensed versions I used when working. I was very happy with NovaMind but they changed it to rental. I think this one was made with Mind Manager (Win). At this event I gave a presentation entirely based on a mind map; software allowed me to show branches full screen, and they all had an A3 version of the map. All these branches could be moved around.

Then came the huge price rises and, turns out, HP5 is not so bad after all. And that horrible grain rarely turned up. And it can be lovely and smooth. And I tried Tri-X again and thought, yeah, okay, but I _really_ don't like scanning with that cupping! But the slight grittiness is great sometimes.
AFAIK all the Ilford/Kentmere films dry flat. Win!

Pretty unpleasant 8 hours for a trip that is less than 6 hours driving. I'd planned on 3 stops, but the Tyre Pressure Monitoring System had other ideas, so we needed an extra stop just to check the tyre pressures were, in fact, OK. It got warmer and warmer, but luckily our late start meant we missed the worst. House was 27.4C when we got in, and 26.8 when we went to bed. UK, so no aircon :-(
