I never got decent at typing though till I started using computers, and that was much later. Glad when I read articles like this about folks keeping old relics alive. That’s more important than ever in this world that moves way too darn fast.

Considering you choose what you publish on your site, I follow the guideline of not publishing things that I wouldn’t want others to see.

I was on my phone when I posted that, so, I probably didn’t give as many details as I should have; basically, whenever I use micro.blog as my feed reader’s endpoint, say, in aperture, I have several sources in Aperture that I cannot see when I load any client; have tried Monocle and Together, so far; only things that show up is the MB timeline, almost as if the client is acting as a MB client specifically. Basically the other folders and sources I have Aperture polling are hidden. So basically MB hides all channels except for those coming from itself. Unless I’m missing something…

There’s actually quite a few reasons. An extra. One of the main reasons, is due to the limitations that I seem to find with feed readers. I feel like with a solution like that, I have more control than I do with a hosted solution like this. Whenever I look at all the things in my feed reader, all I can see is the timeline from here. None of the feeds that I’ve added to aperture separately.
