My old, made in USA, hot water heater failed after only 10 years. It’s replacement only the tank, maybe kinda sorta, was made in the USA the rest offshored in some foreign country. The replacement also cost a lot more than the hot water heater that died. Enshittification.

IMO both are right in that everything is broken and the old definitons no longer work. The problem is the different sides disagree on who to blame. And it gets more complicated because we have an entrenched two party system and the elites of both parties are to blame.
