@JohnPhilpin I’m younger than Doc, but same world. He touches on one of the differences: families were bigger, 3 to 5 kids in a family were not unusual. Older siblings were delegated to look after their younger brothers and sisters along with younger neighbor kids and show us the ropes.

@fgtech @canneddragons Agreed. I don’t stream. I’ve seen a lot of music formats from vinyl 45’s, LP’s (heck, my parents had 78’s), 8-Track, Cassettes but CD’s have worked the best for me. Also, when I buy a CD I feel more assured the artist actually gets paid.

IMO both are right in that everything is broken and the old definitons no longer work. The problem is the different sides disagree on who to blame. And it gets more complicated because we have an entrenched two party system and the elites of both parties are to blame.
