My brother found some slides that had some never-before-seen photos of my parents. Here’s a great one of my dad. He was my best friend and such a gray dad. I am so lucky to have had him. I want to push for the idea that a record doesn’t have to mean something. That the point of music isn’t always to decode it and extract meaning from it. That music can be emotionally legible without being confessional. @roelio it’s a local-first bookmark/tab hoarding system. It captures browser tabs from Dia (my daily driver browser) via AppleScript, auto-tags them using k-NN against the corpus of existing bookmarks, and syncs to Raindrop.io.
\nThe core workflow is:
\nCapture - Grab open browser tabs instantly into an “inbox” (SQLite database)
\nProcess - Generate embeddings (all-MiniLM-L6-v2), infer tags from similar bookmarks, optionally refine with Claude Haiku
\nSearch - Semantic or keyword search via a FastAPI server and web UI
\nSync - Push bookmarks to Raindrop.io for mobile access and backup

The primary interfaces are Raycast script commands (keyboard shortcuts for capture, search, tagging) and a simple web UI. The API server can run locally, but I have it running on a remote (in my garage) Mac Mini running Ubuntu and every device is connected over Tailscale.

It’s essentially a personal search engine for everything I’ve bookmarked (or had open in a tab), with automatic categorization so things are findable later.
