From my colleagues (IT consultancy, mostly male): Before, most (all?) dads would take the statutory 2 weeks paternity leave immediately after the birth. After, most would take 3 months of shared leave after the mother had taken the first 6 months.

@holly @helge @mattiem @jasongregori the current `isolation: isolated (any Actor)? = #isolation` way of making this ā€˜isolation genericā€™ seems very similar to the way of adding generic parameters to make a method ā€˜type genericā€™. I think we need a shorthand equivalent to `some Protocol` for ā€˜isolation genericā€™. I donā€™t know if `@isolated(any)` is the right option for it, but I think we need something.

@cocoaphony my understanding is that an await just marks a potential suspension point. In your example, both methods are isolated to the same actor, to the called method starts without a suspension point. Itā€™s only when it gets to Task.sleep that it will actually suspend. But, ask you say, this can be hard to reason about because it requires knowing the implementation of that methods.

* fast
* conceptual model that branches arenā€™t intrinsic to commits, but are pointers to them is the better model of reality

@siracusa @qlp itā€™s so bad. The steering wheel buttons mean I have to look away from the road to change the volume. Forget being able to change track on the steering wheel: they decided to make this up and down (why???!). I still donā€™t know which is which after 18 months driving it.
