Since about the time these two bombs exploded, there seems to have been a proliferation of independent media.\n\nWatching sites like 404 Media, Aftermath, and Defector rise from the ashes while bloggers both old and new splash back onto the scene has been a lot of fun. It also feels like the doors to the internet were just blown wide open.
