@rscottjones Tough question. How many quarts/liters do you need? What’s the max amount of time you’d need to run it off a battery? What’s your budget? Do you need a freezer as well (dual zone)? The Anker is high quality but also high cost. Setpower and BougeRV offer better bang for buck with good quality at much lower prices.

@drwalt Yeah, basically the same. I’m currently looking into buying a used Nissan Leaf as an around-town car because I am getting sick of the Big Oil syndrome. Since I source my electricity from a solar farm, I feel this is another way to use solar and de-centralize from fossil fuel only.

@JohnPhilpin I don’t have a firm grasp on all of it yet, not being a programmer. I am experimenting, however. I think implementation of Byline is what I am struggling to understand at the moment. @apoorplayer Welp, not gonna happen. Back to Brave + Feedly. I need an RSS reader usable on all devices. Inkwell and Current, two lovely RSS readers, are not cutting it. Inkwell’s UI is not easy to organize, and Current is Mac only. Vivaldi looks nice, but not interested in the learning curve.

@rom I’ve no wisdom to share. Although I have access to ProtonVPN, I use a Canadian company called Windscribe, which I came across before subscribing to Proton. I just like the fact that it’s on the same continent as I am but in a different country.

@drwalt I’m gonna say yes to the battery, which I presume to mean a portable power station. I think the Pecron F5000 is the best bang-for-buck, but the Anker Solix models (either 3000 or 3800) are also good and a little easier to operate. Have you looked into an induction cookstove? You have so much extra solar that it might be a good investment. We got one to replace our gas stove.

@drwalt I think the long drying time would frustrate me. We have a small, stacked unit with washer on bottom and dryer on top. I really don’t know how efficient it is, but it does live on the main floor. 120V system. I remember using one of these AIO systems in London, and hating it because it never dried my clothes.
