@marcoarment we have multiple Linode UK servers that renew let’s encrypt just fine for Cloudflare domains, but pretty sure we use the http challenge.

Moving to Cloudflare origin certs anyway to bypass the shorter renewal headache.

@Migueldeicaza that’s very much the approach Kotlin Multiplatform takes (it can do UI using Compose, think Xamarin Forms) but ultimately create core app and data logic and use platform UI, like Swift UI for the native interface - looks pretty flexible

@Migueldeicaza @swiftlang will be watching this closely, most of our apps are cross platform line of business ones - mostly in Xamarin / MAUI but the last few years have been frustrating and a lot of hours porting with little value added.

Working in a first party language for one of the platforms is really appealing so Kotlin looks promising, but I’d Swift / Swift UI can get me to Android easily too then we’ll be easily tempted 👀
