@toddgrotenhuis True. It is too bad we don’t have an audio of Paul’s preaching to compare. We can only go by his writings. His preaching compared to Roman speaches maybe just as different as MLK to other political speaches today. All we know of Paul’s preaching is he almost preached someone to death 😂

@joshuapsteele I don’t know… last Mercy Me concert my hands were lifted and I was balling my eyes out in worship. However, their worship style is more akin to non-liturgical churches. @mwerickson Thank you for this. I am reading a biography of Peterson recently published. When he was in seminary he interend under a pastor who’s habit was to visit up to 25 homes during the week. No doubt this influenced Peterson. I was facsinated by this. You don’t see this in our culture today. Most people would resist any kind of visitaion. Even phones calls are resisted. How does one do the work of visitation in our culture?

@help I don’t like when I save drafts to publish later, then when publishing they are dated when the draft was created. No way to change the date in the app. Am I doing something wrong?

@nathanrhale I’ve been burned so much in the past entrusting myself to others in the church, particularly from leadership. However, I still want to be able to entrust myself to another in order to be together in Christ. Coming into Anglicanism was a surrender of sorts towards this entrusting myself to others.
