There are some casual clubs in town that organize periodic group ferry rides – what a treat! Taking photos with other people who dig ferries! They look like fun and I’d like to join sometime. My little data vis all for my Peloton rides broke a couple of weeks ago, but clever developers found a way to continue using the API, so it’s back, for now. @maique I think for me the sense that Flickr doesn’t have community there anymore is holding me back. Of course the community is different; I’m probably unrealistic in wanting that again, but I do miss it.

@sonicrocketman That’s fair, though probably also the reality with any other platform. I find installing and using packages to be pretty seamless almost universally, and tools like renv make it a lot easier to manage for reproducibility where needed (infrequently, in my case)
