Perl just got “class” keywords in 2023. Writing classes before this required creating a “package” and subroutines as methods.

@caseyliss I almost bought a Synology after having both used them at work and hearing you rave about them. I ended up doing the much worse thing of running www.openmediavault.org in hyper-v on my gaming pc. It’s fine, but hyper-v is a dumpster. no regerts

@siracusa @coda : My wife and I (39 and 37 year old life-long Michiganders who have very recently relocated to Iceland) both had heard this term. Her family used it (Shelby Township) but I had definitely heard it (Detroit, Hazel Park, Royal Oak) though I used “sliding door” growing up.
