Most of the PDF apps I’ve seen that offer “fill and sign” only take an entry you create and embed it into the PDF. Actually creating fillable spaces, adjusting maximum length, format, font, and all that? I don’t think anybody does that.
It was a wrench to give up InDesign. QuarkXPress is a shitty app and has been for decades, and whatever they’re doing with Affinity these days is woefully incomplete and weird. But I make do.
