I owned several of them and they were my main device in all my early trips to Thailand. They were always less expensive than most other devices available, but always plenty powerful for blogging while traveling in Thailand. 🇹🇭
\nMy last one is still sitting on charge in my bedroom. This one now only works for about an hour before needing more battery charging. My blogging tapered off and eventually I was just reading on my Android phone, which had enough charge that I can use it all day, while charging some while in use. So the Chromebook just fell out of use.
\nThe Chromebooks serving me totally well and I never had any complaints at all in using them. I mostly shifted to just reading with occasional emails and my Android is just fine for that. Of course it is much smaller and fits in a holster on my belt. So ease of use won out in the end.

\nI noticed it had arrived when the fireworks started all around us, loud & persistent. After quite a while the neighbor’s dog had had enough and he started barking, loud and long. It reseded into the background; then I realized both the fireworks and the dog had stopped, at 12:30.
I have a verrry sore right arm from the shingles vaccination I got around 5:30 pm tonight. But I’m glad I did it. I had a good friend that had shingles and it was a LOT of pain for many days. I much prefer one night of pain in my arm to all she went through. I will get a 2nd shot in two months.
