I’m excited to be reading this biography about a mathematician I’d not heard of. I picked it up after seeing back cover recommendations by James Gleick, Freeman Dyson and Martin Gardner; some of my favorite writers over many years.

Here on May the 4th it seems like a good day to mention how much we enjoyed both Seasons of “Andor”. After finishing the last episode of Season Two, my wife and I watched “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” which seamlessly carried on the story from “Andor”. We are having to watch Season 2 of “Deadlock” with subtitles on to help out with the dialog. I’m Australian but I still can’t always follow the rapidly delivered “shouting”. Be cautious about starting to watch this one!

@BestofTimes I have been using it for about 18 months and I also use Bear. Standard Notes is encrypted both in transit and at rest on your device. They take this stuff extremely seriously. For a better MacOS experience you’d want Bear with ( to my mind) better tagging & look/feel.
