Yeah, this is whole different kettle of fish.
But after 10.5 months on low carb + working out, I've lost 47.5 lbs so it does work. I have another 22.5 lbs to go and working on it very day.

Not really because it's still a gain.
Buckwheat four is 18.2 g of carbs per 1/4 cup.
Regular white wheat flour is 22.9g per 1/4 cup
My total carb limit per day is 60.4g and there's no way I'm using all my carbs on a piece of cake! LOL
That's why we use nut flours instead.

Yeah, I would have to modify any cake recipe a lot but that never stopped me from making any recipe. Most baking I make is almond flour based and with low carb fruit like raspberries or strawberries, the two lowest on the carb scale.
But for the sanity of everyone else, do not make a choice of cake using almond flour... It's crazy expensive now. (907g/2lb bag cost me $28 on sale)

I now use an app to track my carbs & such, and it has a section for liquids. I log in 8 to12 12oz glasses a day and it's one of the best thing I've done for myself. My brain loves water! lol
