@bapsi Hawaiian and Filipino both use gender neutral third person pronouns. I believe this might be common to Polynesian and Indonesian languages (which I think are the same language family). I met someone from Madagascar once, and he confused “he” and “she” in English the same way my Filipino father did. So I suspect whatever language they speak in Madagascar might have gender neutral pronouns, too.

@pratik For me, RSS is a good way to figure out when someone has posted. Some folks post relatively infrequently, and I check infrequently. RSS means that I see that the post happened. But I do find that I often click through from the RSS reader to the actual website, just because I like actually “sitting in their living room,” so to speak, when I read the post.

My translation is the New Revised Standard, Catholic Edition, and it’s a rather different experience of the text, which matters if part of the discussion is from a literary perspective. Also KJV is public domain, so it’s easy to include.
