This was a well-researched and argued defence of British imperialism post-1873 against blanket charges of racism, genocide, etc. It shows the complexity and moral evils, as well as moral goods.

I had a student write a paper on source criticism. The paper itself plagiarised multiple sources that the student spliced together. At most 10% of it was original. I’ll fail him, but I wish I could use his paper to teach the class about source criticism by finding his original, unattributed sources.

@KyleEssary I say this as someone who has taught courses on Biblical Theology using Goldsworthy, Goheen, and Wellum/Gentry. I don’t doubt that ‘salvation history’ plays a role in the theology of the OT, but I no longer think it provides the structure to the theology of the OT.

I’m increasingly skeptical that ‘salvation history’ accounts for the theology of the Old Testament. It cannot account for (1) too much of the content of the OT, nor for the form of the OT. It also falls prey to reducing the OT to a ‘witness’ to history and not seeing it as revelation in itself.

@philbowell We have the full Proton account, which includes Proton Pass. It doesn’t integrate as well as Apple Passwords. We tried it, but eventually stuck with Apple.
