Twitter gives their voice a volume it never had before. There are countries(and some states in America) that i can’t visit due to safety concerns. LGBT rights here in British are under a particularly insidious attack (starting with trans people). A particular pleasant thing to happen is having your human rights rebranded as being ‘political’ (a la bsecmp) so yes, including work on intersectionality, I’m living my life on a continual 7 basis on the ‘outrage’ scale. It’s exhausting and also somewhat scary knowing that as I head towards old age that I may not have the same rights and freedoms that I have now.
\nAlso with regard to the term ‘outrage’, review the term ‘tone policing’
