If you are content with idolizing the space program instead of learning about the moon (the purpose of the mission), then you could be satisfied, because most (except for a handful of images) show us nothing new about Earth's companion. They are distracting the public with other content about their program. I am not content with this, but want to see color images of the far side of the MOON that confirm the presence of water, which NASA admitted years ago is present on the moon.

That looks like a good choice for your phone's screen. However, is it really \"wonderful\" that they make the images \"freely available\"? You realize that the program is not free, right?
The space program has cost taxpayers roughly $2 trillion in today’s dollars for #NASA alone since 1958. The least we could get in return is a digital wallpaper. But they took over 10,000 images on this single mission, maybe far more than that.... where are the rest of the pictures?

The image quality at flickr.com is higher than on nasa.gov, but the content is mostly the same shots already shared. Shots are the same, but the resolution is higher.
Do you know if there will be a data dump at some point of the original photos? There must be thousands of high definition images that have been taken.

It is surprising how small the moon looks. Even from Earth, images make it look bigger. The Artemis II is closer to the moon than we are, so I would expect the moon to look larger. I wonder what kind of camera setting would make it look smaller.

It is easy to record the audio playing on the computer. I used to manually move cables from the speaker jack to the microphone jack to record audio. Now I can do it easily from the command line with arecord, as shown in the video.
