@manton I am using a custom domain that is connected to Micro.blog via the EU server. However, my default micro.blog page (user.micro.blog) now shows different content than my custom domain. New posts can be seen under my custom domain, user.micro.blog no longer changes anything. What is the error?

@sumudu Sorry for my bad english. I wanted to ask: is it enough for most users to simply have the functionality - and the design does not have to be brilliant? Pure function is not enough for me. Such a tool has to have a great, motivating and inspiring interface. It has to be a pleasure to write (and read) an entry. Otherwise, I will not use it in the longer term. User experience has to fit anyway - Day One does UX well.

And maybe you’re right – an «old skool» journal has it's unique, simplified look and is very easy to personalize. Digitization is anyway overrated 🤣

@sumudu I did not know Journey. Light blue, however, seems to be the color of diaries. Everyone praises the design of Day One. Unfortunately, I do not like it that much. As a UX / UI designer I may be too picky. But Journey is also not visually sensational - a diary has to convey quite a visual flair, or not? Is the clumsy function sufficient here? That did Day One pretty well. But even there would be something more. Do not believe that I could help you with my talk. Sorry for that :)
