Confirmed my friends in Bondi Junction are safe. What happened was and is utterly terrifying. For those who are not aware, five people were stabbed to death (and many in critical condition) at a popular shopping centre in Sydney and the attacker was killed. My thoughts with all those impacted.

For me, this year is the year of doing hands on courses. Just did a course on basic home repair. March I’m hoping to do an introduction to woodworking & maybe upholstery course. I’m a third into a 10 week dressmaking course. Maybe something with clay later in the year! I wanted to use my hands!

Did a Home DIY course over the last two weeks and it was really good! For anyone in Sydney, I highly recommend the Bower for courses like this. I learned grouting, basic tool use, gyprock patching etc. We also made this which I shall use as a coaster.
