Set a Craigslist alert for \"Canon Powershot\" or \"point and shoot\" with a price cap at around $125. The Powershots were intuitive and you can probably find a decent one for less than $100. I say $125 as your top end because you can always haggle people down. Keep in mind too, when buying an older camera, you'll probably need a smaller—in capactiy—SD card because the older cameras won't read/write to the new higher capacity cards.
