@tvaziri Apple could get a long way toward this \"big battery iPhone\" by just expanding the region below the camera plateau to align with that thickness. As you suggest, reduce down to one lens and you get that much more room for more battery. At some point I do wonder if heat sink efficacy would suffer with such a design though.

Good CGI should be so good you don't notice it. Think of how many shots with CGI you've pointed out where nobody would have known how much CGI was used for it without your insight (the Madmen 'unmaster' upscale fiasco for example that let through a bunch of shots without CGI applied). It shouldn't be done in a way that actors are confused about what they're reacting to, it shouldn't be whatever was done in much of the Clash of the Titans reboot. Sometimes things can look too slick/clean with improperly implemented CGI. Those are some of the things I think people are complaining about. But then it swings too far and people think \"we have to do all practical!\" Which isn't a realistic business or technical decision nowadays. Finding the right balance of practical with CGI is the key and it depends on the project/scene/movie/vision etc.

I remember this era well.
I had bought a beige desktop G3 266 (so it had the 512kB of backside cache) about a year and half earlier with most of my life savings as a 16 year old. Suggested and convinced my older sister to buy a iBook G3 SE for her last year of college at about this time.
I got a job at an Apple authorized reseller in the Summer of 2000 installing computers for the in the county school district after my senior year of high school which let me buy a display model tangerine iMac DV that never sold for $600 as my college computer. Great memories and such an exciting time to see Apple go from the brink of bankruptcy to a leader in personal electronics beyond anyone's expectations.
