@johnbrayton over the weekend I uploaded my OPML to ChatGPT and asked it to make more recommendations on similar categories. Results were pretty anodyne, sadly, but there could be something there for discovery. At least it can parse the format.

I always expect to find \"copy\" in the sharrow on the mac app. I don't know if you can control what's in that menu or if it comes from the system, but it would make sense to me to have it there, or have copy as a top-level option available as a Article Action.

I was absolutely baffled trying to set tags on feeds: I would go into the feed, go into Settings, hit Tags, and get options that seemed to make no sense. I tried this off-and-on for weeks! I ended up thinking you simply didn't do Tags in the way I thought of them.
This morning I added a new subscription, and saw the Tags interface in the new subscription flow. A-ha! The tag I added to this new subscription then showed up in the main interface, like I expected!
So Tags are indeed a thing, and I should be able to add them to existing subscriptions. It still took me a very long time to find the option to set tags under \"Edit Subscription\" - in my opinion this is way too many taps into the interface.
So I'm happily adding tags to many of my subscriptions now. One more note on tags, since I've already written 200 words to you: if you make a change to the tags interface and then tap away, the changes are discarded. This seems counterintuitive on iOS, where I expect changes to be applied unless I explicitly cancel. You know tons more about this than I, just sharing a minor point of confusion.
Anyway. I do enjoy Unread and am enjoying making it my first stop over morning coffee. I hope you are doing great. Did you know I work with Ben Wyckoff again now?
