The new weather app for the iPhone is exactly what you want from such an app. Completely best in class. It’s only taken them 15 OS versions and an acquisition. Better late than never!

@kaa Agree. I used to love Dark Sky and I'm glad Apple bought it to put it to use within the native app.

@kaa Now all that remains is for them to bring it to iPad.

@kaa Yes, I’ve been waiting for it. Time for me to ditch Carrot.

@timapple Hello Weather is great, but still doesn’t support Environment Canada forecasts which are most accurate for me. (Though neither does Apple’s app)

@ronguest @kaa I would love ditching Carrot, but that attitude... can't be matched by Apple's weather app. LOL.

@kaa If Apple would add severe weather and governmental alerting as Carrot has, I would switch. Love the new app otherwise.

@kaa The radar in the stock Weather app could be better. It’s about time it’s there, but it seems half baked. That’s why there’s third party options though.

@sku_b Yeah, it’s pretty much rubbish. I like Radarscope which provides access to real weather radar that is useful to spot tornados forming etc.

@ronguest Yeah, I need something high quality living in Nebraska given some of the severe weather we deal with here. The velocity radar in RadarScope is nice to have also.
