@mandaris I don't know how to raise kids but I think 12 year old me would have liked my folks to say that when things get hard, and there are always hard spells, that we'd work on it together, that noone has to get through stuff on their own.

@agilelisa @miraz When I first began learning about being a parent someone told me that we revert to what we have learned as a child on how to discipline when we are stressed. If we were spanked, we spank. It’s a continuation of bad habits. We have to be better if we want our children to be better.
