@pimoore yeah, I’ll set one up for Becky with the most recent macOS it can run and then I’ll probably dual boot mine with macOS and Pop!_OS as an experiment.
@mdrockwell I tried Linux briefly on my old 2012 MBA, and the only thing that gave me trouble was the Broadcom wireless which I was eventually able to work around by installing the proprietary drivers. For the rest of it, that era of MBA is apparently pretty solid for Linux support, especially for Ubuntu variants, as well as Solus which is the distro I tried.
