💉 2nd Vaccine day. Yay! One month apart exactly. Oh sure, keep hearing that Delta is coming, but hopefully we’ll have a booster shot for that. We might end up having boosters in the future. For now, I am protected and hopefully many around me will also be protected.

Pfizer and Moderna both already provide excellent protection against the Delta variant, so long as you’ve had two doses and following the two week wait period afterward. I’ve heard mixed information about the necessity of a booster except for the elderly, and I watched a news article that stated there’s research that the current immune response may last for years.
@pimoore thanks! The delta variant (and all the variants that come after it) is the only thing that is in the back of my mind as something to bear in mind - but as a start this is where we want to be as humanity. The more of us that are vaxed the less of a problem this will be.
