I want to start saving product manuals as PDFs for everything I buy. I could store them on our home server and access from there as needed, then recycle the paper copies.

@mdrockwell I read an article a long time ago about using a QR code sticker for this, so you can scan and link directly to the manual.

@mdrockwell exactly what we do. Fairly rare that a well known brand does't have manuals online. We use PDF Expert to keep manuals synchronized with our Mac Mini for offline use.

@mdrockwell You could just make it link back to your server copy of the PDF instead I would imagine.

@mdrockwell I have been doing this for a while. Create a descriptive note/tags in Bear, attach the PDF.

@mdrockwell I’m doing the same thing. Currently just a shared folder in iCloud Drive. I call it “home”.
