I've never really used a password manager but have decided it's about time — I'm trying Bitwarden, being free and cross platform, so have been populating my most frequently used accounts and changing some passwords as I go. @colinwalker I would do some research one this and not cheap out because if you go with an app that don't take security serious it can cause major problems

I would also recommend going for a manager that notifies you about breaches and lets you identify sites with 2fa that you don't have enabled it on

@hjertnes Everything I’ve read indicates that they take it very serious. If I like it then I can upgrade to a premium account which includes password hygiene and data breach reports. The free version lets you check for breaches manually but the automatic reports would be nice to have.

@hjertnes Same here, I haven’t used Dropbox in ages and don’t plan on changing that anytime soon.

@colinwalker Not sure if you tried yet, but if cross platform is a requirement there’s KeepassXC. The Strongbox iOS app is excellent (I think it has Mac also) and K.P. has Windows.

@peterimoore Thanks for the suggestion. There's no official Android app for KeePass so I'm happy testing Bitwarden for now.
