I might have said this already, but Micro.blog sort-of feels like the place to be right now. It syndicates to all the services I care about, let’s me gracefully publish on my own site, and uphold a lot of what I love about the open web.

@gr36 @mdrockwell - agree wholeheartedly, I never realized how toxic Twitter was until I went back after being away a couple of times.

@gr36 I expect I’ll continue checking Twitter and interacting with others there for the foreseeable future, but I have a feeling I’ll be thinking of Micro.blog as my primary social network going forward.

I regret ignoring Micro.blog shortly after I setup an account a couple years ago. I would have benefited from investing more time into it and sticking around.

@mdrockwell I remember reading that article in my RSS and nodding my head more than once. My mental health and anxiety were already enough pre-covid, and obviously now. Twitter made it unarguably worse, it’s just sad really.
