In the last six weeks I’ve read five different books written by British authors who used the word corn to mean grain. I’m 43 years old and I had no idea, but apparently this is a thing.

@sexyhermit Corn is American English for maize, but apparently some pastors, (among others), in America compare maize, (Native to The Americas) to oats, wheat rye. 🌽 ❌🌾 Ref: The sower sowing seeds, Matt 13:8.
