@vincent Still going? Incredible! I would have thought the tamagotchi would be well out of college by now, thriving in the working world.

@sod this is my daughter’s. We bought it a few weeks ago, but she keeps forgetting about it. Gets to 5 days and then pretty much dies (as shown in the picture). So I’ll take the reins once she’s back in school.

I used to have a few a very long time ago, still somewhere if I took a 24 hour drive and a ferry to look for them in the attic.

I had them ages ago too. Loved them. Kinda feels like the perfect distraction tech haha. Super simple and cute.

@odd yeah, that sounds right. I had a few then. Different versions. Such a great little toy to fill your “I need a distraction”… way better than a “smartphone”. Not that we had handhelds then.

@jeannie hopefully not VR/AR headsets… if that’s the case I’m going to just quit technology. Keep it pre-2000 😋

@jeannie it’s already bad watching everyone being glued to the phone, when they eat, when they’re with their kids and family, with friends, on the road (insert everything else). I think when I see a bus full of people with headsets… I’m just going to leave and live in solitude somewhere.

@jeannie @vincent they reset and then you start all over again. Also you get an ear ache from your kid for killing it, if you were responsible for it lol
