@pratik He ought to take over. He’s not gone, is he? I guess there have to be an election (and a major shift in public opinion first though).

@odd don’t think he has the popular support. He tried twice. Lost twice. Also, he voted against this bill.

@pratik Ok. I see. I’m not very tuned in to American politics, (by design), but I have noticed there is many egos to please. Not that we don’t have our own mess over here… 🙄 Maybe Forward as @patbak mentioned can become something to consider?

@pratik This is the sort of scorched-earth tactic that Mitch McConnell dreams up repeatedly. He would rather battle against Democrats than spend a single moment considering what is right for the country.

@pratik it is and Joe Manchin is still a gigantic waste of space, yet I do enjoy the self-righteous indignation from Republicans when they are subjected to a rug pull for a change.
