I have a lot of hairs that are white at the bottom, black or brown in the middle, and white at the top. These are a useful indicator of changes in my thyroid function over time.
@KimberlyHirsh I didn’t know that could happen. I’m so middle aged now, that ive got a lot of grey/white. But it’s almost uniformly so where it is.
@odd I'm in my early 40s but this has been going on since I was in my late 20s. The hairs that are all white I figure are staying that way.
